This map shows the currently enabled exchanges in green (as of 10/05/2004), and the exchanges which will be enabled by the end of summer 2005 in red. This will leave over 5,000 of the 5,591 UK exchanges ADSL enabled.
It is worth keeping in mind that although there is a large amount of exchanges being enabled between now and summer 2005, they only cover about 12% of the population. 87% of the population can already received ADSL via the existing 2605 (just under 50%) enabled exchanges. |
